Our publishing program seeks to move along the cultural cutting edge. We stay ahead of the competition by publishing books at the forefront of emerging trends and by finding unique angles on established topics unexplored by other publishers.
The press is always keen on previously unpublished works of science fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy, horror, and noir mystery with a tinge of otherworldliness. In regards to horror, we prefer psychological and strange to straight-up blood-drenched narratives.
Upper Room Books guides readers in Christian spiritual formation, inviting them to create daily life with God. Upper Room Books resources speak to the needs of laypersons and clergy, both individuals and small groups.
