Apogee Poetry Chapbook Award

April Gloaming is excited to announce its first annual Apogee Poetry Chapbook Award Competition. Submissions are open to poetry chapbooks that range from 25-50 poems, or 25-50 pages.

Bad Betty Press

Accepting full-length poetry collections (not pamphlets) to consider for publication in 2023 and 2024 chapbooks.

Glass Poetry Press

Glass Poetry Press seeks to publish four to six chapbooks per year. We do not charge reading fees and we do not hold contests. Each chapbook is selected during our open reading period or, occasionally, through solicitations.

Grey Book Press

Query first for chapbook consideration. At least half of our manuscripts come from annual open reading periods . . . usually in the Autumn (with chapbooks appearing early the following year). 

Maverick Duck Press

All chapbook manuscripts should be in PDF format and contain no more than 18-24 pages. Poets should submit their best work, as the chapbook is a body of work that reflects the poet's style and personality. No simultaneous submissions. No previously published manuscripts/books, however, a manuscript may contain poems within it that have been published in print or online journals. Due to the large amount of submissions we receive, a response in regards to your manuscript could take up to four months. We do not accept submissions through postal mail.

Newfound Chapbooks

Newfound publishes at minimum three chapbooks (two poetry, one prose) annually, handbound on FSC-certified paper.

Nightingale and Sparrow

Nightingale and Sparrow aims to soar through written and visual arts. We want to publish work that takes the earthly and makes it ethereal. Send us your deepest thoughts, most poignant memories, and flights of fancy.

Porkbelly Press

Our catalog favors lit & poetry leaning heavily toward fabulism, folklore, & magic—often confessional or intimate poems or personal lyric essays. All work should be tightly linked. 

rinky dink press

When we’re open for submissions, please submit one micro-manuscript containing 5-6 thematically related micro poems (i.e., poems consisting of no more than 40 words each).

Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but please let us know if your work has been accepted elsewhere.

Yavanika Press
